We have dug into the Swedish newspaper archives from April 2009 to find these five very positive reviews of Lene's "Twist The Truth".
Well worth the wait

The single "Here We Are" has already been climbing the charts in Norway, and many of the pieces on "Twist The Truth" have had time on tours.
To Metro the Norwegian says that she never will be able to do a happy album, and that she quit writing hit songs. She wants to perform the songs in her own way, which is an extremely good way, and have filled "Twist The Truth" with melancholic, well-rounded songs.

Lene writing lyrics in the USA

Lene says in her blog that she has been writing lyrics in the USA.
In an unfortunately overlooked blog message on her Facebook account, Lene writes that on April 16, the day of her TV2 appearance, she had just recently gotten back from the USA.
She writes that she had spent nearly 3 weeks in the US, and that she wrote a lot of new lyrics over there.

Lene makes rare appearance on TV

Lene made an extremely rare appearance on Norwegian national TV on Friday evening.
It was Norwegian TV2 broadcasting host Stål Talsnes that got Lene to appear on his weekly show, "Friday". The show airs each Friday evening, from 18:55 to 19:20, usually starring guests that have been in the daily news in the latter week.
Not so this week, as Lene Marlin showed up out of nowhere, taking everybody by surprise.

More good news for Lene and Aleksander regarding their co-operation and With's new album, as "Worth It" has now earned a Gold Record for single sales in Norway.

One year since "Twist The Truth" release

Today, March 30, 2010, marks the 1 year anniversary for the release of Lene's "Twist The Truth".
What seems to be not so long ago, is already in fact a whole year. Despite Lene not doing any live or concert activities whatsoever in connection with her fourth studio album, we are still proud of her latest work.
So proud, in fact, that we find it timely to give all of you fans out there a rounddown of the timeline of events that occured in February - March of last year. Oh, those glory days!

New song from Lene's hand available

The release of Aleksander With's new album brings with it another beautiful Lene Marlin tune.
Yesterday, With's new album, "Still Awake", was released, featuring the second song written by Lene to be included on this record, entitled "It's About Time".
Today, Lene even updated her MySpace blog to inform everybody, as it wasn't clear in advance which of the other songs on the album was written by her. The song turns out to be quite the beautiful tune.
