Lene Marlin's duet with the Swiss Lovebugs is being launched in Europe and Asia, where Lene already is a star. However, whether she returns as an artist, she doesn't know.

In the future Lene first and foremost will be a songwriter.

- I think it's hard to foresee the future, and I like better to be working a little in all secrecy, Lene is laughing, cleverly.

A short while ago it became clear that Lene wrote a song for the American RnB-star Rihanna's new album, which has gotten a lot of attention. Lene says that the songwriting has given a good taste.

- It's true that I'm writing a great deal of songs on my own at home. However, I have no plans of releasing a new album as an artist.

On the duet "Avalon", on the other hand, Lene is singing herself, together with the Swiss band Lovebugs. The single has topped the charts in Switzerland for weeks, now it's climbing on the radio charts in Norway.

Fans

- How did the co-operation come about?

- It's a beautiful story, the frontman Adrian sighs.

- We have been fans of Lene for a long time, so I sent the song to her by e-mail. Two weeks later Lene was on location in studio with us in Zürich, the smiling vocalist says.

- I fell totally in love with the song, Lene says.

- I will perform more with Lovebugs, if they let me get the opportunity.

The boys are leaving little doubt that they're open for duets on stage.

- The duet with Lene is a brilliant argument for getting more people to be listening to our music, we have received fantastic reactions to "Avalon"! The trio is adding that they are willing to let it happen at the VG-list Top 20 show on Rådhusplassen in June.

Lene will also be singing at the Døgnvill festival in Tromsø this autumn, and Radio Tromsø reported yesterday about an enormous interest following it becoming clear that Lene will be on stage in August. Because Lene still has a faithful army out in the world.

Humble

- Especially my Italian fan-club is fantastic! They are traveling around the world for meeting me and be listening to my music. They know things about me almost before I do myself, and is updating their webpage almost on a daily basis, Lene informs.

- It's touching that someone is so occupied and dedicated to my music. It makes me very humble.

Lene is, as previously mentioned, careful about foreseeing the future. However, for the summer months she has laid down some pleasant plans.

- I'm going to be enjoying myself, be writing songs, drinking wine, eating strawberries, sitting in the park, taking baths, traveling a little, and having lots of sunbaths!

Such smiles the little Tromsø girl with the great talent.
